Hip hop recording artist Money-B made a visit to the Optometry Practice of Dr. Alex Corbin Liu. The visit consisted of the recording artist selecting new eyewear at the office.

You may remember Money-B from the legendary music group Digital Underground. The group had many hit songs in the ’90s which included “The Humpty Dance,” “Same Song” and “Kiss You Back” to name a few. Money-B appeared on all of the Digital Underground albums and was also featured on 2Pac’s “I Get Around” song from 1993.

Talking to Money-B I quickly realized that we had a few things in common. We both live in the same area and root for the San Francisco 49ers. It was a pleasure having him at the office.

Bret “Epic” Mazur made a visit to the Optometry Practice of Dr. Alex Corbin Liu. It was another recording artist from the many that have recently visited the office.

You may remember Epic as a founding member and frontman of the rock band Crazy Town. The band made a name for themselves in 2001 with their hit song “Butterfly.” The song rose Crazy Town to fame worldwide with “Butterfly” reaching number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Bret Started his record producing career at the young age of 18 and has collaborated with New Edition and Bell Biv DeVoe to name a few. What is Epic up to these days? He is no longer with Crazy Town but is still active as a producer in the LA area.

R&B singer Phillip Johnson visited the Optometry Practice of Dr. Alex Corbin Liu. Phillip came all the way from Oklahoma City for the visit.

Phillip is a member of the R&B group Portrait. The group made a name for themselves in the early ’90s with their songs “Here We Go Again!” and “Honey Dip.” In early 1993 both songs had reached the R&B top 20.

Portrait initially started as a quartet. The group now consists of 3 members and they released their latest album titled Afro Trees this year. I wish them the best of luck with their latest endeavor.
