On January 26, 2019, I attended the annual Los Angeles Fit Expo. I hadn’t attended the event in 7 years due to working most of the weekends and not really having the will to make the 70 mile drive to downtown LA. This year I put all excuses aside and attended.
One of the first things I noticed was how much the event has grown. The place was jam packed unlike previous expos from many years ago. There were a number of athletes and fitness celebrities making appearances throughout the day but I kept my list short and simple.
Former pro bodybuilder and 4x Arnold Classic winner Flex Wheeler.

I have said this a number of times in the past and I will say it again. The best part of the Fit Expo isn’t meeting athletes and celebrities. The best part is seeing all the beautiful women throughout the entire day. There’s so much eye candy it makes you want to lick your own fingers.
This year I took only 1 posed photo with a female, avoiding any mischief.
Former UFC fighter Anthony Johnson and former Utah Jazz/Los Angeles Laker Bryon Russell met with fans at the Competitive Body Development booth.
Many other athletes made appearances but after meeting Bryon, I split from the expo. I was tired of walking and didn’t want to wait in long lines anymore.
The annual Fit Expo is a great event for fitness enthusiasts and athlete meet and greets. Will I attend another Fit Expo in the near future? It’s nothing new so it probably will be a coin flip.
