Mr. Ortega is the winner of the autographed Olden Polynice photo.
I had an appointment with Dr. Liu at his practice in Rowland Heights for an exam. It was business as usual then Dr. Liu informed me that Grammy Award winning L.V. was next on his appointment list.
I honestly had no idea who L.V. was. Dr. Liu quickly informed me that he sings the chorus on the hit song “Gangsta’s Paradise” by Coolio and has his own hit song titled “Throw Your hands Up.”
Before heading out I asked the Grammy Award winner for a posed photo.
Later in the evening I headed to San Manuel Casino for a football viewing party. Former Laker A.C. Green was on hand to meet with fans and sign autographs. I’v met A.C. a number of times and only attended because I live near the casino.

Andre Reed made a rare Southern California appearance at the Optometry Practice of Dr. Alex Corbin Liu. The Buffalo Bills great was scheduled for a one hour meet and greet with all fans in attendance.
The autograph pricing was very reasonable and Andre even included his Hall of Fame inscription at no additional charge.
To my surprise, many Bills fans were in attendance. I didn’t even know there were any Bills fans in Southern California.

Andre received the ultimate honor by being inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame.
On April 28, 2014, Randal Alexander Grichuk made his Major League debut with the St. Louis Cardinals.
Randal started his career in the Angels organization, then was sent to St. Louis along with Peter Bourjos in the deal that brought David Freese and Fernando Salas to Anaheim.
Randal spent the entire 2012 season at Class A Inland Empire, where he hit 18 home runs with 71 runs batted in.
I want to wish Randal the best of luck in the big leagues.
