Former NBA point guard Pooh Richardson visited the Optometry Practice of Dr. Alex Corbin Liu. Pooh had an appointment for an eye exam followed by him choosing new eyewear.

Pooh loved the variety of eyewear available at the office and didn’t have any trouble making a selection. Before leaving the office, he posed for photos and signed autographs for Dr. Liu and staff.

Pooh played his college ball at UCLA where he was a standout before heading to the NBA.

Former NBA Center Keith Closs had an appointment at the Optometry Practice of Dr. Alex Corbin Liu for an eye exam. Keith played briefly with the Los Angeles Clippers in the late 1990’s.

During the visit he told us many stories from his time with the Clippers.

Former Los Angeles Lakers All-Star Norm Nixon visited the Optometry Practice of Dr. Alex Corbin Liu for an eye exam. During the visit Norm mentioned to Dr. Liu that he hadn’t had his eyes checked in over 25 years.

After the exam the 2x NBA champion was nice enough to sign autographs for Dr. Liu and staff.

Isaiah Rider made an appearance at the Optometry Practice of Dr. Alex Corbin Liu for a private signing. Isaiah flew in from Arizona just for this private event.

Basketball fans had the opportunity to mail in, drop off items, or participate in person. I’v never been one to mail in or drop off items so when the opportunity rose to attend in person I had to take advantage.

Former NBA guard Gary “The General” Grant had an appointment at the Optometry Practice of Dr. Alex Corbin Liu. I was in the area and was asked by Dr. Liu if I wanted to meet one of his favorite Clippers of all time.

Gary was in very good spirits for the short meet & greet and signed some items that Dr. Liu had given me.
