Former major league pitcher Barry Zito came to my neck of the woods to sign copies of his new book titled Curveball. The event took place at the Barnes & Noble store in Redlands which is literally minutes away from my house.

It was scheduled to start at 2 p.m. but due to unfortunate circumstances, I arrived a bit after 3 in the afternoon. Upon arrival I was informed by staff that Barry was done signing for the day. I guess there was a much smaller turnout than anticipated.

Barry did sign a number of books for the store before heading out. A staff member did swap out my copy of the book that I had purchased the day before for a signed version. It has a sticker attached to the front of the book which seems to be their authentication.
