Meeting Bryan Abrams

Recording artist Bryan Abrams came to California from Oklahoma City to take care of some obligations. One stop that Bryan made while in town was at the Optometry Practice of Dr. Alex Corbin Liu for an eye exam and eyewear.

You may remember Bryan as the lead vocalist of the R&B group Color Me Badd. The group rose to fame in the early ’90s with hit songs like “I Wanna Sex You Up” and “I Adore Mi Amor” to name a few. At the height of their fame Color me Badd were nominated for two Grammy Awards, won two Soul Train Music Awards and won one American Music Award. The song “I Wanna Sex You Up” can still be heard regularly on certain radio stations to this day.

With all that’s currently going on in the streets with the pandemic, high unemployment and national protests, this was a good getaway from it all. Just for a short moment it seemed as if no issues existed in the world.

Like many recording artists and celebrities, Bryan has had his own struggles battling alcoholism. He has owned his past mistakes and constantly works at living a more productive lifestyle.
